About Little Heroes Prom
For children with cancer, the reality is many of them may never make it to their prom or other school dances. That’s why The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society hosts Little Heroes Prom each year! Little Heroes Prom provides pediatric cancer patients one night where they don’t have to worry about IV’s, hospital monitors, chemotherapy, radiation or anything else associated with their cancer. Instead, immediate families, members of their medical teams, LLS staff and volunteers are by their sides on the red carpet and dance floor, having fun and honoring them for the HEROES they are!
With help from medical staff at children’s hospitals and pediatric cancer support organizations, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society invites patients with ANY type of cancer under the age of 21, who reside in New Jersey, and who receive (or received) care in hospitals and clinics throughout the Garden State.
